and paid for by the Colonial Government, it is considered that the Memorandum should expressly provide for cash payment of the agreed value of the buildings at the date of surrender
in addition to the book entry in the Colonial Military Lands
Account in respect of the land.

A revised draft of this Memorandum is required for
War Office approval and I shall be glad to know if the several amendments mentioned above are agreed.
